at this time we’ve got a photo to go along with the announcement of Sony Ericsson’s GreenHeart concept phone — and if this is what saving the environment looks like, we approve. It looks sorta like a retooled W880, but you won’t find any brushed aluminum in this place; instead, the GreenHeart’s made with some crazy plastics that go easy on mother nature. It’s bundled with a new charger that shuts off when the phone doesn’t need any juice to save energy, but one think it’s not bundled with is a manual — the guide is entirely electronic to save paper. The granola candybar isn’t slated for production, but we’ll see a number of technologies developed for it come about in retail models over the next few years.

A single shot of Sony Ericsson’s “Patti” candybar phone was apparently making the rounds earlier this week, but a helpful member of the SE4M forums has at this time thankfully provided a whole batch of pics, as well as word that the phone has at this time been officially dubbed the W902. Apart from the 5-megapixel autofocus camera with an LED flash, however, this one looks to be a pretty standard SE handset, with it boasting all the usual Walkman-related features and tried and true design you’ve come to expect. No word on a release just yet, but you can at least get a good look at it by hitting up the link below.

Yes, it could be a knockoff or a rendering — but given Sony Ericsson’s storied history of being unable to keep unreleased phones on the down-low, we have every reason to believe we’re looking at a real phone in this place. Besides some engaging attention texture on the case, we can see some Walkman branding on the bottom and the decrease edge of the keypad, so it seems like we’re dealing with a candybar; rumor has it there’s a 2.4-inch screen up there somewhere, too. The rest, though, is pure guesswork at this point. Want more? Well, we’re only half joking when we say we bet this’ll be on eBay by next week, so line up that cash flow at this time just in case.
