We’ve seen a review of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, and several videos of the device in action. What we haven’t seen, however, is a video review… until at this time. Over at MobileBurn they’ve posted a series of four review videos of the touchscreen handset, and though it starts out a bit shaky — the stylus is “not very good” and the build doesn’t feel very “solid” — the reviewer changes his tune by the end of the opus, and his opinion seems like it’s evolved to a resounding “not bad.” Hit the read link, grab a bucket of popcorn and consider yourself in for the night if you want to watch the full review.

Nokia 5800 XpressMusic video review is probably longer than you think originally appeared on Engadget Mobile on Wed, 19 Nov 2008 18:32:00 EST. Please see our terms for use of feeds.

When the N95 was released, it was all but universally adored. Even today, nearly two full years after it was first revealed, it’s still one of the most respected in Nokia’s lineup. From the get-go, we knew the N96 was more evolutionary and less revolutionary; after all, the two handsets even look alike. The general consensus this time around is about what we expected: the N96 is a fine phone, and a worthy successor, but probably not worth the high price it’s currently demanding. Oh sure, the call quality was stupendous, battery life was satisfactory and the multimedia playback was superb, but some critics were a bit displeased with the fit and finish given the premium price tag. All in all, don’t go into the links below expecting any very big surprises — the N96 is a nicely revamped, high-priced N95, and if that’s what you’re looking for, there doesn’t seem to be any underlying issues that should hold you back from indulging.

Hate to break it to you, but there’s little more to tell about the E66 that we didn’t already cover with the E71. It’s basically the exact same hardware and screen in a portrait, sliding form factor, which loses the QWERTY for a numeric keypad. That said, we wanted to go over the specific quality of those differences, and touch on a few things we missed with the E71 review. Oh, and in case you missed our video hands-on with Bot. devices, you can find it right in this place.
