Yippee, it’s T700 day at Sony. First they launched the DSC-T700 digicam, at this time the T700 cellphone. The T700 candybar is mostly phone though with a smattering of camera just for kicks. We’re talking quad-band GSM and UMTS/HSDPA 2100 with 4.5-hours of 3G talk and a 3.2 megapixel camera with cell-id geotagging and photo light. It measures just 10-mm thin with Bluetooth A2DP, 2-inch TFT LCD, and 512MB of Memory Stick Micro (M2) storage tossed in the box. Available in “chosen markets” in Q4 for what’s expected to be a middling price tag.

No surprises in this place but at least Sony Ericsson’s C905 Cyber-shot is at this time official. As a camera, we’re talking Xenon flash, face detection, image stabilization and 8.1 megapixels crammed into a tiny sensor of unspecified make or dimensions. As a phone we’re looking at quad-band GSM (9-hours talk / 380 hours standby) and tri-band UMTS/HSDPA 850/1900/2100 on the C905a worldphone variant. It also comes packing an auto-rotating, 2.4-inch scratch-resistant QVGA display, aGPS with Google Maps, A2DP stereo Bluetooth, TV-out, 2GB of included Memory Stick Micro (M2), and WiFi with DLNA support when this slider is loosed upon the globe in Q4. Check the gallery in this place.

Sony Ericsson is having a bit of trouble keeping its newest lineup on the down low, but we suppose that’s the price of fame. Most notable of the new crew is the F305 (pictured), which isn’t precisely feature-packed, boasting of mere EDGE speeds, a Memory Stick Micro slot, a 2-inch 176 x 220 display and some music playback features. What sets it apart is a built-in accelerometer for motion controlled games. The game-oriented face buttons are also a perk, but we hope this thing has enough processing power to handle something actually entertaining. The S302 Snapshot is camera-oriented, but only just barely, with a 2 megapixel fixed focus camera, a flash, and PhotoFix software. You can also shoot video, with 20MB of built-in storage, and Memory Stick Micro expansion. Bot. phones come with A2DP and will be declare on the 17th, according to whoever leaked all this info. The F305 should hit Q3, with the S302 to follow in Q4. Sony Ericsson will also be busting out three stylish but cheap-seeming Bluetooth headsets to accompany these two.
