For those of you who firmly believe that Verizon plus Motorola plus touchscreen equals pure, unadulterated bliss, heads up: we have a bit of information that might be of interest to you. phoneArena has scored a screen shot of what appears to be some promotional material for Moto’s upcoming MING-esque doohickey, the ZN4 Krave — and it seems like we’ll be shelling out about $150 on a two-year contract for the honor of carrying one in our knockoff Louis Vuitton backpacks. Not a bad price for a phone clearly designed to rest toward the upper end of Verizon’s non-smartphone lineup, we suppose, and we’ll admit that it’s looking better in this dolled-up promo shot than it was last time we saw it. Separately, they’ve landed pricing for the Moto VU204, a basic flip that’s probably not plan to turn as many heads as the Krave; that one is plan to go out the door for $29, and you’ll get three free with the purchase of the first for the ultimate four-pack of mediocrity. We don’t have a solid line on when these are coming to market, but the Krave’s still a possibility for this month.

The rumor mill promised us that the Motorola W388 would be nothing worth writing home about, and we’ve got to hand it to the mill — it was spot-on this time around. Mobil.cz appears to have scored the first shot we’ve seen of the new low-end candybar, and while the design’s positively retro, the microSD slot is still a notable inclusion for such a cheap (or cheap-looking, anyway) device. Music gets some special attention, thanks to a shiny d-pad with embossed music controls, a dedicated player button, and the inclusion (seemingly) of in-ear buds. A VGA camera rounds out the hearty feast of mediocrity. No Dat. or price are given, but you know what they say — if you have to ask, well, odds are you can probably still afford it.

Remember that touchscreen Motorola Blaze we’d mentioned a while back that was on the hook to get Verizon’s visual voicemail service? It may not be in Verizon stores yet, but it’s all up in Boy Genius Report’s labs with a dark red body, MING attitude, and almost limitless mediocrity on board. The touchscreen apparently requires ridiculous amounts of effort to actuate, and that problem is compounded by a lame on-screen keyboard that makes texting tricky at best. EV-DO Rev. A is cool and all — and the visual voicemail support should be a pretty popular add-on feature — but that giant Motorola logo up front with the red ring and three pounds of chrome leaves the Blaze with a face only a mother could love. Let’s hope Verizon’s positioning this one as its low-end touchscreen offering, because we’re not seeing it cha-chinging many registers otherwise.
