Ha, you or someone you love just paid full retail for an iPhone 3G a few days ago, didn’t you? We’ve continuously heard that the bes. deals come after Christmas, but people just never learn. All smack talk aside, those who didn’t get a new mobile phoneie under the tree, but did acquire a Benjamin or so courtesy of cash-stuffed holiday cards, can certainly score a big deal today. AT&T is at this time offering the 8GB iPhone 3G in refurbished form for just with a two-year agreement, while the 16GB refurb is 9 on contract in either black or white. Call us crazy, but we don’t foresee these hanging around in stock for too awfully long.

[Thanks, Brenson]

If you’ve had trouble finding the Sony Ericsson X1 on American shelves since its supposed release on Black Friday, you’re not alone. It seems that stock was pulled shortly after release and sent back to headquarters, possibly for an ultra-last-minute firmware update designed to fix an undisclosed bug of some sort — but the good news is that phones should start to filter back into their natural habitats this week. Look at it this way: at least you got to hang onto your 800 frickin’ dollars for a few days longer, right?

[Thanks to everyone who sent this in]
