Lowish-end tunes are the name of the game with Samsung’s latest pair, the M3200 “Beat s” slider (pictured) and M3510 “Beat b” candybar. The Beat b you may remember from IFA, offering EDGE data, 2-megapixel camera, and FM radio all packed into a 9.9mm body. The Beat s, meanwhile, goes just a tiny bit upmarket with an integrated Bang & Olufsen-sourced ICEpower audio processor. Bot. phones feature 3.5mm headphone jacks, stereo Bluetooth, and something Samsung calls “Motion Play,” which smacks of Sony Ericsson’s Shake control by letting you knock your phone around in various ways to start playback, change tracks, or mute the sound. Bot. models will be available this month.

LG’s generally one of the most consistently tightlipped companies when it comes to revealing details about upcoming handsets via FCC documentation; yes, granted, they’ve got to file certain documents, but they do so in the most obscure, boring way possible (take, for instance, the ID label small part, which show the same meaningless diagram for every single device they test). Imagine our surprise, then, to see that the LG CP250 flip has been revealed in this place in full AT&T battle regalia — complete with a VGA cam, EDGE data, a pair of color displays, and that’s just about it. We would’ve liked their one-in-a-million FCC reveal to be just a little more engaging attention, but hey, it’s a start, LG. Keep it coming.

The spec sheet isn’t plan to widen any eyeballs this morning, but as low-end flips go, Samsung’s new a237 for AT&T really doesn’t look half bad; then again, maybe we’re only saying that because its rounded case and bold lines are a welcome change from the typical anonymity these phones usually suffer. True to its target market, the a237 tops out with EDGE Dat. and a VGA cam, features a passable 160 x 128 main display, and sticks with grayscale for the secondary. It launches today in your choice of black, red, or blue, and rest assured, it’s not plan to break the bank. Scout’s honor. [Warning: PDF link]
