There’s not a whole lot of excitement packed between the hinges of Samsung’s M3110, but the vivacious exterior is certainly worth a look for those who appreciate varying hues. The self-proclaimed music phone does itself a very big favor by offering up a 3.5-millimeter headphone jack, and there’s also an internal display (160 x 128) there to complement the external 96 x 96 pixel screen. Finally, you’ll find a 1.3-megapixel camera and a very traditional numeric keypad, but your guess is as good as ours on pricing / availability.

So, you’re looking for simplicity, huh? Have a gander at the LG Swift, which is at this time available on Alltel Wireless for those with the most basic of needs. The clamshell boasts a “next-generation keypad featuring Fastap Press-to-Experience keys, which integrates six raised one-touch access Quick Keys with a traditional numeric keypad,” and beyond that, it also offers up external music control buttons, twin speakers, Bluetooth support, a 1.3-megapixel camera, one-touch speakerphone and a memory card slot. Sadly, the headphone jack is of the 2.5-millimeter diversity, though you can choose between red and blue color schemes. If you’re sold already, all’s that left to do is hand over your $49.99 and agree to being locked in for two solid years.

We didn’t see this one on our exhaustive leaked Nokia roadmap, but our homeboy Boy Genius has uncovered pics and specs of a new Nokia flip destined for AT&T. Codenamed “Wahoo,” the quad-band clamshell features an engaging attention half-QWERTY keypad, an internal 2.2-inch QVGA display and a 1.36-inch external unit, push-to-talk, microSD expansion, and A2DP support — which you’ll need because Nokia seems to think a 2.5mm headphone jack is still somehow acceptable. No word on a release date, but if you’re waiting on pins and needles for a phone with a display that small we really can’t help you anyway.
