We figured those dummies probably meant something good was about to happen, and sure enough, evidence is building that we’re just days away from an official Fuze release. Boy Genius Report has been ever so graciously provided with documentation suggesting that we’ll see HTC’s latest WinMo greatness on AT&T shelves come November 11 (just a day after the Quickfire) for $299.99 after contract and rebate discounts have been applied — or a solid $499.99 if you want to kick it commitment-free. That pricing is right in line with the Bold, making for an engaging attention, drama-rich showdown heading into the end of the year. Fight!

Man, Nokia sure is proud of its unlocked N96, huh? As with the HTC Touch Diamond in CompUSA and the BlackBerry Bold at bes. Buy Mobile, the flagship N-series device won’t run you cheap off-contract. The Boy Genius shows off a flyer advertising the 16GB, 5MP powerhouse for “just” $799.99 (as expected), but judging by the standard $899.99 price on the outfit’s website, we’re thinking the decrease sticker may be for a limited time only. The question isn’t how bad do you want it — it’s do you really want it more than 1.825 WiMAX-enabled N810s?

We’d never discount the possibility of someone being awfully talented in Photoshop in this place, but we’ve got to say, the image shown above looks pretty convincing. As you can glean from the logo in the upper right, this in this place is a purported E63, and according to some technical tidbits scrounged out of a lengthy Nokia XML file, it just might be a legitimate piece of hardware. Early reports show it as having a 320 x 240 resolution display, WiFi, Bluetooth, Symbian S60, a microSD card slot, 3.5-millimeter headphone jack and UMTS / HSDPA. Furthermore, it’s bruited that we could eventually see three versions of the phone for varying markets: the E63-1 for Europe, the E63-2 for suits who can’t have cameras on their handsets and the E63-3 for the Americas. We’ll be keeping an ear to the ground for more, but till then, you can go ahead and start working up justifications as to why this will be totally necessary in your mobile arsenal in a few months.
