If so, it’s all good — the folks at Qik still want you to indulge in its first public alpha release for a slue of J2ME phones. For users with a Nokia 5300, 6300, 6500 classic, 6500 slide, 6555 or 8800 Arte, you can join your brethren with a Sony Ericsson K850, K858, W890, W910, W908, K660, G502 or Z750 in streaming live content right from your phone to your lovely posse. The N85 at retail in October? Yeah, sounds totally believable, especially considering that an October release would give the populace enough time to wrangle one for the holidays, the fact that Nokia’s known to be revealing two hotties this month, and that the Dat. comes from none other than Mobile-review’s scoop-tastic Eldar Murtazin. A graphic scored by Murtazin has the N85 and the just-declare Carbon Arte variant of the 8800 series Bot. slated for grand entrances in the tenth month of the year. One, we stand a fighting chance of affording; the other, just like the Artes of old, probably not.
