For Telus subscribers who’ve been unbelievably envious of Americans yapping on the Rant, it’s time to kick back a cold one and relax. Telus Mobility has just introduced the renamed Samsung Slyde m540 into its lineup, and the pricing is mighty palatable if you’ve got three years to burn. Available at this time, the handset can be acquired gratis on a 3-year plan, while it’ll run you $49.99 with a 2-year agreement, $179.99 on a 1-year deal and $229.99 with no strings to speak of. at this time, if only choosing between grey and pink were that simple…

Not that you don’t already have an awesome idea of what HTC’s luscious Touch HD looks like from all the hands-on love it’s been receiving overseas, but how’s about an official unboxing in ital. to really put the cherry on top? Go on, Europeans — enjoy your Touch HD. It’s not like we want one in our part of the world anyway. In fact, don’t even bother checking out the read link, there’s nothing worth being completely envious of in there, anyway.

We hear that some truly lucky humans have gotten their hands on the AT&T Quickfire (also known as the Knick), which is supposed to go on sale November 10th, so that means… yup about two days early. The asking price for the device was $149.99 (with a $50 mail in rebate) with a new 2 year contract. Concerning details, all we know is that it was purchased in an AT&T store by an unnamed mystery customer in a “small town.” Sometimes it truly pays to live in the real America.
